About the Role : GIS Substation Professional

Role Objective:

We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of reliable, scalable, and cost-effective power infrastructure for our data center operations. This role will oversee end-to-end power delivery projects, ensuring alignment with capacity growth, operational resiliency, safety standards, and sustainability goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal engineering, operations, procurement, and external utility and vendor partners to deliver best-in-class power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management

Lead power infrastructure delivery programs across multiple data centers from design through commissioning.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

Drive vendor and contractor performance to ensure on-time, quality project delivery.

Technical & Infrastructure Delivery

Oversee design and construction of HV/MV/LV electrical infrastructure, UPS, switchgear, generators, PDUs, and distribution systems.

Ensure redundancy and resilience in power delivery design.

Review engineering designs and specifications for compliance with standards, efficiency, and safety.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with capacity planning, operations, and real estate teams to forecast and deliver future power needs.

Liaise with utilities, regulators, and local authorities for permitting, grid connections, and energy procurement.

Communicate program status and risks to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.

Risk, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to electrical safety codes, environmental standards, and internal governance policies.

Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Support audits, compliance checks, and operational readiness assessments.
