About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality, usability, and performance of our software applications. You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, creating test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and passionate about delivering a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and convert them into test scenarios & test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, usability, and user acceptance testing.
• Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
• Clearly log defects with steps to reproduce and follow through to closure.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to validate fixes and improvements.
• Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and status updates.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  
  
  

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Ability to write clear and reusable test cases and maintain documentation.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools: JIRA 
  
• Basic understanding of web & mobile application behavior.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
