Job Summary:

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals, be detail-oriented, and capable of validating application functionality against requirements and designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Design, create, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UI testing.
• Validate application behavior against requirements and design specifications (Figma).
• Identify, log, track, and re-test defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Validate end-to-end application workflows.
• Verify email notifications and in-app messages, where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect review meetings.
• Ensure quality standards are met before releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Up to 3 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in test case design techniques.
• Good understanding of bug lifecycle and defect management.
• Experience with cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
