About the Role : Project Planning Engineer

Job Overview:

Manage all facilities operations, planning, maintenance, documentation and DC Operations in the mission critical infrastructure.

Lead the facilities and building operations team (Engineers and Technicians, Outsourced Services Team) in the DC in required maintenance and training.

Maintain the service level of service contracts and vendors are appropriate for the DCs facilities operations and customer’s objectives.

Leading the staff in training, coaching, appraising and rewarding performance.

Provide technical advice in facilities management, and support of technical matters to regulatory codes and compliances.

Review work processed and improve on work statements and MOPs

Maintain appropriate relationships with vendors and service contractors,

Provide effective leadership, administration of projects, upgrading and management of project teams and contractors.

On appointment the first 6 months, the role and responsibility will be off the data centre construction manager. After that the role will be changed to Data Centre Facility Operations Manager

During the role of data centre construction manager, the role and responsibilities will be, but not limited to -

Project planning and initiation

Consultant Management

Schedule and Cost Management

Change Management,

Implement the equipment and services as per the design

Review and suggest improvements or modification in design as per the site conditions or practical implementation

Contractor management during construction,

Handover, Testing & Commissioning

Integrated systems acceptance testing

Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

Coordinate with contractors, consultants to complete the operations handover as built documents and drawings
