    Job Description
    Job Title: Senior Database Administrator – Level 2
    Location: Vadinar / Mumbai
    Experience Level: 4+ years
    Education Qualification: BE/B.Tech / Graduate
    Professional Qualification: Oracle -Mandatory / MySQL / MS SQL
    Job Summary:
    As a Senior DBA, you will lead the database administration function and support mission-critical systems. This includes full lifecycle management from installation to tuning and troubleshooting. You will also manage client interactions and support strategic database initiatives.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • End-to-end installation, upgrade, and patch management of DB systems
    • Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
    • Lead performance tuning efforts at the database and query level
    • Manage user access control, space, and system security
    • Handle DB exports/imports and large-scale migration tasks
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues and critical incidents
    • Provide guidance to L1/L2 teams and participate in 24x7 support escalation
    • Interface with clients and stakeholders for requirement analysis and delivery
    • Prepare and maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports
    Required Skills Qualifications:
    • 6+ years of experience in managing enterprise database systems
    • Deep knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, and/or MS SQL database administration
    • Proficient in DB architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization
    • Experience in client-facing roles and delivering DB consulting solutions
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
    Preferred Certifications:
    • Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
    • Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics
    • Certified MySQL Database Administrator Expert
