Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of SIA's Sales & Marketing Division.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Attend to walk-in customers and perform frontline services at the Service Centre located in ION Orchard. These include:
  • Attending to general enquiries
  • Providing reservations and ticketing services (e.g. making or changing flight bookings, issuing/reissuing tickets, processing refunds)
  • Handling membership related transactions
  • Assist in backroom administrative functions and other ad-hoc duties if necessary
  • He/She will be rostered for shifts within the daily operating hours of 9am to 6:30pm, including weekends and public holidays, on a rotational basis

Requirements

  • Minimum of NITEC/Higher NITEC or equivalent
  • Work experience in the airline/travel industry or customer services, with knowledge of airline tariffs and ticketing will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and customer service attributes
  • A team player and a quick learner
  • Able to adapt quickly in response to changes and have the ability to handle work stress
  • Training in essential customer service, transactional skills and systems will be provided
