Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success.
  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values.
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible.
  • Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth.
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
  • Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work.
  • Required Skills And Experience
  • Strong communication and commercial awareness.
  • Previous leadership or Sales experience in Merchant desirable.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • An ability to build, develop and maintain relationships.
  • Industry experience would be advantageous.
